A clumsy situation has been formed in the radio-waves of Larissa lately, as a big group of radio station owners have submitted a great amount of formal complaints to the National Broadcasting Council (ESR) against owners of other radio stations.

They clarify that it is not an internal conflict, but rather a set of mistakes by the ESR, leading to unequal treatment. The owners wrote in their letter:

Greek Public Radio executives seem positive towards DRM+

According to a report in the Radio-Link magazine, after a brief discussion of the author with executives of ERT in late December, they said they consider the use of the DRM+ standard for digital broadcasting in mediumwave and shortwave. As they said, improving the signal of international Greek radio broadcasts would mean "substantial offer to the country and multiple benefits for ERT".
Greek radio authorities force local radio station to jam the public radio
Submitted by radiofono.gr on Sun, 30/01/2011 - 23:51The Greek National Broadcasting Council (ES) according to a later decision, has sent radio 97.2 FM Stereo of Lesvos Prefecture, the official recommendation to stop broadcasting illegally at 97.6 MHz and return to 97.2, from Profitis Ilias of Lesvos Prefecture. What's unbelievable, is that the 3rd Service of ERA (the public radio) operates at the same frequency, from the same location.
Vima FM to change style?

In any case, general manager of the station Yannis Politis has been moving to the state media of ERT, according to e-tetradio reports. Meanwhile, it has been known that Restis Group has ceased cooperation with DOL Group on Vima FM, shaking hands with Proto Thema. Consequently, many conclude that multiple changes on the radio band, such as a reopening of Thema FM via the frequency of Music 89.2.
