A 45-year-old man was arrested in Elassona, Larissa, Central Greece for operating an illegal radio station. In particular, officers of the Police Department conducted a search in Elassona, on a settlement in a rural area of Elassona where they found and seized electronic devices and components thereof, installed in order to transmit on a certain frequency (92.5), which has not been legally approved for a radio station transmission in Larissa. A clumsy situation has been formed in the radio-waves of Larissa lately, as a big group of radio station owners have submitted a great amount of formal complaints to the National Broadcasting Council (ESR) against owners of other radio stations.
