Athens municipal radio struggling to keep 70 employees and news program, as government block contract renewal

Whereas Minister of Administrative Reforms Kyriakos Mitsotakes declared that the mobility and redundancy measures have come to an end, Athens Municipal Radio is in a critical point, as the process for the renewal of the contracts of 70 employees, due tomorrow, Good Friday. If nothing is done by the Government in order to allow signing new contracts, the bells will mark Good Friday for the radio station itself, as it is going to remain with reduced personnel and be unable to transmit news content.
