We inform you that ERT employees along with supporters have initiated an international solidarity campaign, right after the announcement by EBU that the streaming of ERT signal will be discontinued on Wednesday 21st of August. The solidarity petition takes place via the website AVAAZ.org. Hundreds of citizens have already responded to this initiative, requesting, among others, from the chair of EBU, to not discontinue the support of ERT with these particular services.

For more than two months now, the employees of ERT have shown their determination producing and broadcasting a full 24-hours program on both Radio & Television. And a great program indeed!
On the other hand, the so-called Public Television (DT) (the new transitional stage) is just an illegal “ghost organisation”. And an “interim TV” that only ” feeds like a vampire” on the ERT Archive.
We urge you, and plea to you, as President of EBU, to keep ERT’s signal alive through EBU’s satellites as it happens up today.
