By the end of September we should expect a new "clearance" bill fixing all matters of Greek local government, including the issue of Greek municipal radio. Mayor Pantelis Vlassopoulos provided this information during the meeting of the municipal council of Heraklion (Athens), after having discussed with government officials, responding to question of Dimitris Tsekouras. The Municipality of Heraklion proposed that the new bill should allow transfer of employees either to the very municipality, to other municipalities, or the wider public sector, which would allow to avoid dismissal of redundant staff of the municipal radio of Heraklion. He denied any information that new positions in the municipal radio were filled.

Hi Bernie,Thanks again for sharing best pcerticos and the Ottawa sponsorship template. I think it's a thorough and well reasoned model for municipalities to use to tap this revenue stream. Please keep us posted.
