The pressure put on the two self-organized radio station is due to the legal complaint that private radio station SKAI has submitted against Radio Entasi. This information derives from an announcement of Radio Entasi 100,1, which in fact is accusing SKAI for trasmitting an illegal "silent" signal on 100,6 MHz, in order to protect their 100,3, as well as for promoting fascists through its programs. Since yesterday, after pressure by the Public Prosecutor, Radio Entasi has been forcefull taken off-air, whereas Radio 98FM and Athens Indymedia have had their internet disconnected. Two non-commercial stations of Athens with political content and the news website Athens Indymedia are threatened with repression. According an announcement by 98FM, the Public Prosecutor has put pressure, resulting into the interruption of the internet connection of 98FM (93.8 FM) and Athens Indymedia, whereas Radio Entasi 100.1 has unexpectedly interrupted transmissions.
