An arson attack with gas explosives occurred in the early hours of Friday, June 29 at the entrance of the radio station "Diavlos Rhodopis" in Komotini. An improvised explosive device was placed by unknown ones at the entrance of the building at the intersection of Zimvrakakidon and Themidos streets, where the radio station is based. It consisted of a gas bottle, on the edge of which a piece of cloth soaked with flammable material was attached. The explosion resulted in a minor fire which caused a slight damage to the entrance of the station, without being spread inside the offices.
