Some hours ago, the second announcement of the Ministry of Finance got issued, concerning the 1453 job positions of for the transitional public broadcaster, as ERT was closed mid June and the new fully operational broadcaster is expected from October. Greek local public radio is being merged

Nine regional radio stations will be formed out of the merge of 19 local public radio services, according to the plan announced by Greek Minister of Communication, Ilias Mossialos. According to the plan, only 2 stations remain as they are (North Aegean, based on Lesbos and South Aegean based on Rhodes). The rest of the stations will be merged as following:
