The Administrative Council of the Union of the Union of Greek Radio Engineers in response to the administration of the radio station "Εcclesia of Greece" who refused to attend the dialogue in front of the official body, decided to hold an 11-day industrial action from 06.00 Thursday, March 21, 2013 until and 06.00 Monday, April 1, 2013; they demand the reinstatement of three employees who got fired as they did not accept the wage cuts made contrary to the mediating decision of the official mediation body and to stop threats of dismissing more engineeres on the radio station.
The Union adds: "We urge the administration to withdraw the radio illegal massive layoffs, we call the State and the APR to intervene in order to stop the descent by the managers of radio station. Struggle until all of our colleagues come back. Nobody should be alone against the employer arbitrariness. Solidarity is our weapon. "
