Just a few weeks after returning Best Radio, the end has come to the dance radio station of Athens. Up Radio 88,6 will be renamed to Panta and converted to Greek and foreign music pop radio. According to the e-tetradio, the administration of the station will be undertaken by Izy Koutiel, manager of former Pop FM. The station name is reminiscent of the former Ola FM radio station in Thessaloniki.
The Biliris group seems to have decided they cannot afford a third alternative radio, after Pepper and Menta and that the competition with the Best Radio leaves not hope. Whether the band itself can afford another pop radio is however a very good question. It is also noteworthy that Up Radio went through several waves of indecision on the part of the administration, since the program was created and degraded many times in the last period.
