This incident took place some time ago at the center of Thessaloniki, when a group of young people tried to enter the studio of Radio Thessaloniki, which is being hosted in a little house, part of the Christmas decoration at Aristotélous Square; Stéfanos Diamantópoulos was there. As he mentioned, there was some tension and he had to call the police, as he did not want to let them be on air, under such conditions. Radio Thessaloniki has made a constant effort to keep in touch with the social life of the city, via a series of "social compaigns", including blood donations, tree planting, cleaning marathons, collective literature writing contests etc. Though, the latest idea of the station is way more interesting than the previous ones: in times of high prices, when many Greeks dream of having "their little vegetable garden", Radio Thessaloniki is offering its garden to the listeners, so that they take care of it and plant vegetables.
