The fifth Youngsters On The Air (YOTA) summer event will take place July 18-25 in Italy, organized by the Associazione Radioamatori Italiani (ARI), Italy’s International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) member society. Teams of young radio amateurs from several countries will take part in a variety of Amateur Radio activities. Attendees also will have an opportunity to learn about other cultures and sample cuisine from all participating countries.
Each IARU member society is invited to send a team of up to five people, with four of them between 15 and 25 years old and one team leader.
The Radio Camp will take place in Marina di Massa, Tuscany. Participants will be responsible for cost of travel to Pisa Airport and €25 per participant. All other costs — accommodations, meals, and activities — will be covered. The primary sponsor of YOTA Radio Camp 2015 is IARU Region 1.
