The dog of ERA Komotini has mysteriously disappeared

Σκυλίτσα Ε.ΡΑ.

In the Greek radio station where... everything may happen, the following incident also took place: the friendly Era, the little female dog that welcomed the employees and the visitors of the public radio ERA Komitini, suddenly disappeared, having had health problems.

The little friendly dog used to live in the front yard of ERA Komotini for many years, having been considered as a permanent resident. The radio authorities had once spayed her, but we don't know if she had further health support, with the necessary vaccination and medicines.

During last summer, she had heart problems and got swollen because of liquid persistence. At that time, an employee of the station took her to a local vet, who prescribed medication for the rest of her life. When the employee got retired, there was unfortunately not further care and the dog, without any medication, got worse again.

Many zoophiles got interested, following an article of RodopiNews.gr and took the responsibility to feed her and buy her medicines on a daily basis. The dog had an impressive progress and it got better and live in a few days. All these lasted until the noon of Wednesday 26th of January, when she disappeared in a mystery, without anybody knowing what may have happened.

The dog had never gone outside the front yard of the radio station, which was anyway big enough for such a pet. It is therefore unlike that it left towards another place or run over by a car. We post its picture, though, in case somebody has seen her and can notify us, via our mail address (rodopi [at] rodopinews [dot] gr) although the history of ERA Komotini, which generally consists of negative news, makes us be considerate about what may have happened.

We all wonder whether such a dog, even sick, having already had the interest and support of so many people, can ever be annoying for anybody.
